Born in rural China with health issues which included open heart surgery at one, Jacob Roy spent his first few years in an orphanage. Luckily he was adopted by a wonderful woman who raised Jacob in Syracuse, NY.
In this episode, Jacob talks about growing up with few people in his life who looked like him and how sometimes he was more comfortable staying in the background.
But now, he's a graduate student at Georgetown University and starting his own podcast. We talk about these things are what his plans are going forward.
