This conversation goes into SO many aspects of parenting, motherhood and loss. We talk about the victim mentality that we have when things go terribly wrong in our life and how we have to make the choice or decide that we are going to find something good out of it. Even when our baby died/dies. We can choose to find something positive from it, even if it takes some times.

Meet ANGIE!
Angie Grandt is The Adoption Coach. She is also a podcast guest, an early intervention speech therapist, and has worked in the autism field for 2+ decades. As an adoptive and bio mom, and a former foster mom, she has extensive training and experience in trauma and attachment, as well as early childhood development. She knows firsthand that raising children who are difficult to connect with, and who often display challenging behaviors, takes a huge toll on parents. This can often lead to shame, anxiety, depression, isolation, and a growing loss of hope for both parent and child. Utilizing both personal and professional experience, training, and certifications, Angie specializes in helping post-adoptive parents and parents of children from trauma and disrupted placement who are overwhelmed by behaviors, feel a victim in their own home, and are ready to throw in the towel. She is passionate about coaching adoptive parents through worry, frustration and resentment to tackle behaviors and build lasting connections with their children so that they can create hope, peace and joy in their home.
