So many changes happening at one time, it's not surprising that I'm having a time of it

We use words everywhere and everyday in every situation, sometimes without really thinking of the meaning behind them or what there can mean to someone else. In our world words can change the oeraeption of a person. Make them fell unworthy, not thought about, its not cool, so lets start changing our perception and thinking before we speak, write, sign or type.

Us parents deal with so many ups and downs things that are completely new to us and to our children. Each of us learning and getting used to the other. But DAMN these terrible two's need to come with a warning sign.

Adoption has more twists, turns, ups and downs than we thought. One thing for sure is that the process albeit scary and child centred and rewarding. With this platform we aim to be honest about how it effects our lives and what learnings have come.

Speaking, fostering and adoption with someone who has years on me, hearing her and her daughters story. Adoption has so many stories, Thank for sharing this one with me!

All parents we all have layers, mum, boss, cook, wife, taxi driver. Adoption of a child adds a layer not spoken about often let's peel that back and talk about this loudly.

Adoption is a tall order it has it perks and its pits (mostly preks). There are somethings that make adoption life tricky, lines are blurry in adoption but it is up to us to try and minimize the blur. This episode is about just that.
