Interview with Jane Elliott, Anti-Racism Activist and educator that is responsible for completing the Blue Eye vs Brown Eye exercise since 1968. During this segment, Jane Elliott and I discuss this country’s issue with racism, how such affects and impacts African Americans, and what we can do about it!

What are your thoughts about the Black Lives Matter murals being painted on streets and street signs being changed to “Black Lives Matter”? Do you believe that this is just another pacifier or that this is the first step to actual changed within the United States? Why did it take so long for it to get to this point in corporations saying that they stand in solidarity with African Americans and Black Lives Mattering? I could go on and on with questions but what I would like to point out most is, us black folks should not lose focus on our focus. We have to keep up the momentum if we really want to see change, actual change, occur. Paintings are not enough and should not be enough. There is more to be done!

Per The Shade Room, rapper Meg the Stallion wrote: "Although school is not for everyone do not let people discourage you from pursing a higher education.  We need the upcoming generation with better mindsets to become our next lawyers, judges, doctors, etc.  We need GOOD people with real morals and values in high places".
