Marriage is a day-in-day-out endeavor. Relating to spouses is so woven into the rhythm of our day (for those who are married) that we often don’t stop to look closely at what this core relationship is, or should be. The scriptures have a lot to say about marriage, so our starting point should be in defining what marriage was intended to be by God. This study will take a close look at passages in Ephesians and Genesis to get a sense of what marriage was created to be, with opportunities to reflect on how we have experienced marriage in our families, our communities, and in the culture around us.
