Today we Decode...Creating a legacy for ourselves and our families. What do we mean by legacy? Typically the idea of legacy involves financial and material possessions but what other legacies should we focus on during our adulting journeys. Is creating a legacy important to you? Why is this something we should strive to do in our own families? How have you begun to do that? Join us as we discuss the traditions, cultures and history we want to become our legacies.
Today we Decode...Happiness. How important is happiness to you in your adulting? Is happiness a destination or a journey? How much happiness should we expect? Should we look at happiness as a luxury? Is there any harm in just being satisfied vs. being happy? Join us as we discuss and reflect on how happiness fits into our adulting journeys.

Today we Decode...Sexual Intelligence. How comfortable are you discussing sex with the important people in your life, your partner, younger generation, or doctors? As we move forward in our adulting journeys, we look back retrospectively on our own knowledge and comfort with sex and sexuality while also looking prospectively at how we can begin to have these discussions with the younger generations that we now care for and interact with. We are joined by Felicia Washington-Brown, Registered Nurse and Certified Nurse Midwife as she helps us decode this and other adulting topics.
Today we Decode...the Art of Self Discovery. Who are you, Decoders? Who do you want to be? Have you taken the time to run inventory on yourself to find your best self? Or are you only doing that in an "emergency" situations? Why is this important to our adulting journeys. Travis Montez is a Writer/Poet, juvenile rights attorney, Nashville-born-Brooklynite. Travis Montez has been featured in publications and at venues all over the world. Today we Decode...Prioritizing Your Health. As adults we have so many competing responsibilities and priorities. Why do we often let our health fall to the bottom of that list? Why should we focus on putting ourselves first when it comes to our health? What are the barriers we face in our adulting journeys that make this so hard? We are also honored to have a guest expert Decoder with us, Dr. Pascale M. White. Dr. White is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She has contributed articles in Women’s Health Magazine and US News and World Reports. In February 2021, Dr. White, along with 10 of her colleagues across the U.S., co-founded a non-profit organization called the Association of Black Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists. Join us as we decode prioritizing our health on this adulting journey.
