In this episode Sam & Lady Q are talking all things women. They'll be updating you on the #FreeBritney movement and how things are looking surrounding her quest to be free of her conservatorship. Also, they'll fill you in on celebrated American athlete Sha'Carri Richardson's latest endeavors involving a race set against Jamaican track stars/olympians. They will also be discussing the tragic loss of a fellow ATLien & beloved member of our community Mariam Abdulrab.
We would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family & friends of Mariam. We would also like to take this opportunity to say that men must do better in dismantling misogyny & patriarchal mindset/practices that put so many women/femme people in harms way. This is never okay & always disgusting. It is 100% on all of us to create a better world that provides everyone safety & tolerance. But it is especially on those who benefit the most from it- and in this case that means men.
If you would like to leave flowers or any type of offering to pay respects there is a mural of Mariam across from the bar Estoria on Wylie Street in Cabbagetown (located near Little 5 Points)
