Adults Do Disney

Lindsay & Laurence attempt to achieve enlightenment using principles and life lessons gleaned from the experience of going to a Disney park. What wisdom can we learn from imagineering, and what more could be added to the Disney experience to make it even more transcendental? In Part 2, Laurence interviews creature effects hair specialist Maria Cork, the woman responsible for building and maintaining Chewbacca! Maria has worked on all of the new Star Wars movies, and has incredible stories to tell - from the thrill of styling Yoda's hair on night shoots with Frank Oz, to the unglamourous phenomenon known as "wookiee butt" (a phrase coined by Peter Mayhew himself). She also talks about her work on other films, including the suit of feathers she made for a real live horse on the set of Maleficent.

The first of a 2-part special, in which Laurence & Lindsay sit down with Mason Ball - Star Wars actor and creature performer. Mason played Praster Ommlen in The Force Awakens, and Sosear Latta in The Last Jedi, and tells fascinating stories about what it's like to be inside an animatronic creature, working under JJ Abrams and Rian Johnson, and the pivotal moment he truly realised he was in a Star Wars film.

Laurence & Lindsay are going to Hong Kong and Shanghai, and they're planning all the ins and outs of their trip. Episode 24 features comparisons between China's two very different Disneylands, their unique attractions, cultural differences, practicalities such as visas, hotel bookings and accommodation, as well as (of course) large helpings of incoherent Disney rambling.
