이사야 (Isaiah) 9:6 [새번역/ESV]

6 한 아기가 우리를 위해 태어났다. 우리가 한 아들을 모셨다. 그는 우리의 통치자가 될 것이다. 그의 이름은 '놀라우신 조언자', '전능하신 하나님', '영존하시는 아버지', '평화의 왕'이라고 불릴 것이다.

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

요한복음 (John) 14:27 [새번역/ESV]

27 나는 평화를 너희에게 남겨 준다. 나는 내 평화를 너희에게 준다. 내가 너희에게 주는 평화는 세상이 주는 것과 같지 않다. 너희는 마음에 근심하지 말고, 두려워하지도 말아라.

For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility

by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace,

16 원수 된 것을 십자가로 소멸하시고 이 둘을 한 몸으로 만드셔서, 하나님과 화해시키셨습니다.

and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility.
