Dr. Mark Kleive joins host Kira Dineen to discuss how dentists can build their practice with a patients first approach.
His genuine interest in each patient includes listening to individual circumstances before giving a treatment recommendation. Dr. Kleive’s dental treatment philosophy reflects his desire to educate people to experience first-hand how the health of their mouth directly affects their general health.
He is a University of Minnesota School of Dentistry graduate. Dr. Kleive is also a visiting faculty member at the Pankey Institute, the premier facility for post-graduate dental education. He was inducted as a Fellow to the American College of Dentists, a prestigious dental college whose focus is ethics and excellence in dentistry. Dr. Mark Kleive and his dental team serve patients at Renewing Smiles in Asheville, Black Mountain, and Marion, NC and throughout Buncombe and McDowell Counties.

Dr. Marc Geissberger joins host Kira Dineen to discuss dentists’ role in promoting health and wellness. As a dentist, personal trainer and fitness nutrition specialist, Dr. Geissberger brings a unique perspective to the subjects of caries, diet and the oral environment.
He earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of the Pacific’s School of Dentistry. Dr. Geissberger also earned a Master’s of Arts in Educational Psychology from the University of the Pacific School of Education. He splits his time between his private practice and educating dentists. He is an Adjunct Clinical Professor in the Department of Preventive and Restorative Dentistry and served as the Chair of the Department of Integrated Reconstructive Dental Sciences at the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry for 15 years.
He has won several teaching awards and completed a fellowship with the American Dental Education Association’s Leadership Institute. He has served as the President, President-Elect and Vice President of both the Supreme Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon and University of the Pacific’s Alumni Association.
Dr. Geissberger teaches several continuing education courses for fellow practitioners. He has presented 350 lectures and hands-on workshops to colleagues in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, China, Peru and Taiwan. He has co-authored and published numerous scientific papers and a textbook entitled Esthetic Dentistry in Clinical Practice for Wiley-Blackwell.

Dr. Frank Milnar, a smile designer, joins host Kira Dineen to discuss cosmetic dentistry and heated composite.
As a master technician and artist he is a dentist skilled in the applied art of smile design and enhancement. His fine sense of esthetics and technical expertise are well regarded internationally. He has lectured extensively with U.S. Armed Forces and publishes work on the latest techniques in cosmetic care. Dr. Frank Milnar is one of 360 fully Accredited members by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and a Board Examiner for Accreditation. He has published numerous articles about the direct placement of composites, shade selection, porcelain materials, Minimally Invasive Dentistry and is on editorial review boards for numerous dental journals.
Dr. Milnar is co-founder of the Minnesota Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has been voted “Top Dentist” and voted into the “Top Dentist Hall of Fame” for the last five years by his peers in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine. He has been voted by Dentistry Today as one of the top 100 dentists contributing to dental education. Most recently, Dr. Milnar was nominated to the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry Continuing Education Advisory Board.

Dr. Steven Katz is interviewed by our host, Kira Dineen, about practice management and the insight he has gained from the challenges of building his own practice.
He lectures nationally about practice building and management, which we discuss on this episode. As a full-time practicing dentist, he is fully aware of the trends and challenges that other dentists are experiencing. His published his first book in 2014, “They Didn’t Teach Us THAT In Dental School”, and he won First Place in the Speaking Consulting Network’s “Spotlight on Speaking” competition. He was also named “The Best New Speaker in dentistry at the Madow Brother’s TBSE event in 2015. Dr. Katz is a graduate of Columbia College (Business and Finance) and the Washington University School of Dental Medicine. He completed a two-year GPR at North Shore University Hospital and continues there as an attending dentist.

Dr. Marty Jablow is known as America’s Dental Technology Coach. He received his dental degree from Rutgers Dental School in 1986 and practices in Woodbridge, New Jersey. He is the Chief Development Officer of Cellerant Consulting and a member of the Cellerant Best of Class selection committee. Dr. Jablow has achieved Fellowships from the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Association of Dental-Facial Esthetics. He has been selected multiple times as one of Dentistry Today magazine Top Lecturers. Dr. Jablow holds memberships in the American Dental Association and NJ Dental Association. He is a long time member of his county’s Peer Review Committee. Dr. Jablow has written articles for many dental journals and has had his own column and video series.

Douglas L. Lambert, DDS, FACD, FASDA, FASD, ABAD graduated from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management and the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where he received the Outstanding Senior Student Award and the Quintessence Award. He is a Fellow in the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the Academy for Sports Dentistry, the American Society for Dental Aesthetics, and a Diplomat of the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry. Dr. Lambert has been honored in the Top Dentists Hall of Fame by Minneaplois/St. Paul magazine and as a Top Dentist multiple times by the Minnesota Monthly magazine as well.
He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and several other dental organizations, and has held many leadership positions including Past President of the Minneapolis District Dental Society and six years as a Trustee to the Minnesota Dental Association. He has authored and co-authored several articles on cosmetic, restorative and sports dentistry, and has presented numerous lectures and hands-on seminars nationally and internationally for dental organizations, universities, and study clubs. Dr. Lambert has been recognized as one of the Top Dental Educators by Dentistry Today for 15 consecutive years. He serves as an independent consultant and clinical researcher for many dental manufacturers, and as the team dentist for the Minnesota Lynx of the WNBA.

Welcome to the first episode of Advancing Dentistry, our brand new a dental podcast! Our Social Media Coordinator, Kira Dineen, will be interviewing key opinion leaders in the dental field as we discover the latest advances in dentistry.
Joining us for this first episode is Allen Hindin, DDS. He is a New York University college of dentistry graduate and completed a US Army general dentist residency. Dr. Hindin was involved with the model school of health program in Hartford, CT. He was the Director of Dental Services and the Practice of General Residency of Danbury Hospital. Currently Dr. Hindin serves as Director of Dentistry for Hudson Valley Celepalsy in Brewster, NY. And since 1996 he has a private practice of general dentistry in Danbury, CT.
