Advent 2020

Today we are reflecting on Week 2 of Advent where we have focused on Peace: Immanuel - God With Us. Enjoy a conversation with two Grinnell College students as we reflect on what God has done in their hearts this week! Find a quiet and comfortable spot to slow down. Caitlyn will guide you through the Breath Prayers from our scripture for this first week of Advent. Feel free to linger in God's presence after Caitlyn is done leading you. We left extra music, just incase you'd like that too!

We encourage you to come back to this throughout your week!

Our dear friend, spiritual director, and mentor, Terry Van Dusseldorp, joins us to teach about how to engage in Visio Divina.

We encourage you to download or print the Visio Divina for today and follow along as we have a conversation.

Terry also references two other pieces of art she enjoys doing with Visio Divina. We have attached them below for your enjoyment!

Take a listen as our very own, Keegan Flaherty, shares with us how we will encounter God and our neighbor on Thursday's!

Every Thursday, you will be sent 1-2 worship songs to engage with God. We will also prompt you with ways to go and care for your neighbor! We encourage you to write down in the calendar we provided for you when you plan to go out and serve your neighbor.
