Welcome to Day 16 of our Advent journey, Celebration Church family! Today, we reflect on God’s Most Successful Setback. The story of Christmas reminds us that God’s plans often unfold in ways we least expect. From Joseph’s journey in the Old Testament to the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, we see how God uses setbacks to achieve glorious victories.

In Philippians 2:9–11, we’re reminded of Jesus’ path: humility, suffering, and ultimately, exaltation. What appeared to be a defeat—the cross—was God’s greatest triumph. Let’s embrace this truth as we consider how God can use setbacks in our lives for His glory and our growth.
