Hello Friend. Awakening of the Heart Advent Retreat. Our passion is to embrace the joy as we wait upon Christ's birth, gaining a renewed sense of excitement for the season of Immanuel, God being with us.

Let us pray, Jesus, we come before you with hearts brimming with joyful anticipation. Your Word in Psalm 30:5 reminds us that joy comes in the morning, and as we await the celebration of Christ’s arrival, we recognize the beauty and hope this season brings. 

Help us embrace this time of expectation, filling our hearts with excitement for what is to come. 

May we revel in the wonder of your promise fulfilled through Jesus—the Light of the World. 

In our moments of preparation, let us infuse each day with gratitude and joy, savoring the sights, sounds, and traditions that fill our lives during this sacred season. 

Lord Jesus, as we anticipate your birth as the Christ, let that expectation transform our spirits. 

Open our eyes to the blessings surrounding us, big and small, as we reflect on your faithfulness and love. 

May we find joy in the simplest moments—a shared smile, a kind word, or the warmth of family togetherness. 

As we journey closer to Christmas, let our hearts be ignited with renewed appreciation for the miraculous gift that Christ is with us.  

May our joyful anticipation draw us nearer to you and to those who share this journey with us, we pray. Amen.
