Hello Friend. Awakening of the Heart Advent Retreat. Our theme on day 3 is recognizing God as our refuge and strength, with the reward of finding peace amid turmoil.

Let us pray, Gracious Father, we pause to acknowledge that our Mighty God is with us, even in the chaos that often surrounds us. 

In the whirlwind of responsibilities, demands, and uncertainty, we turn to you, our refuge and strength. 

Lord, we seek your comforting presence amid the storms we face, trusting that you are our protector and source of peace. 

Help us to quiet our hearts and minds, laying aside worry and distraction so that we can hear your voice amidst the clamor of life. 

Grant us the strength and courage to navigate through turmoil with unwavering faith, knowing that you are ever-present in our struggles. 

Remind us that we do not face these challenges alone; you are with us, guiding and sustaining us. 

As we draw near to your comforting embrace, fill us with profound peace that surpasses all understanding. 

Let that peace guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, so that your power may strengthen us. 

May we find reassurance in your love as we journey forward, anchored in the hope that you are our refuge. 

Thank you for being our peace, provider, protector, and problem-solver.
