Lv: Pavasaris bija klāt, un bioloģijas klase devās uz lietusmežu.
En: Spring was here, and the biology class went on a trip to the lietusmežs (rainforest).

Lv: Ceļojumā piedalījās Ilze, Kārlis un viņu skolotājs Jānis.
En: In this trip participated Ilze, Kārlis, and their teacher Jānis.

Lv: Viņi visi bija sajūsmas pilni.
En: They were all filled with excitement.

Lv: Šis īpašais lietusmežs bija pazīstams ar daudzām sugām, un Ilze sapņoja atrast retu vardi, par kuru stāstīja leģendas.
En: This special lietusmežs was known for its many species, and Ilze dreamed of finding a rare frog that legends spoke of.

Lv: Lietus sāka pārklāt mežu ar vieglu auna plūdumu.
En: The rain began to drape the mežs (forest) with a soft waterfall of droplets.

Lv: Pār koku galiem sirds ritmā skanēja kugņošie skaņas viļņi.
En: Over the tree tops, the roaring sound waves resonated rhythmically.

Lv: Kārlis un Jānis saprata, ka Ilze ir pazudusi.
En: Kārlis and Jānis realized that Ilze was missing.

Lv: Kad lietus sāka nemitēties, Ilze, slapja un izbijusies, ieskatījās uz sūnainu baļķi.

Lv: Kamēr Ilze gaidīja, zvanīdama ar savu zvaniņu, Kārlis un Jānis, kas jau bija sākuši viņu meklēt, gāja pa aasmusē.
En: While Ilze waited, ringing her little bell, Kārlis and Jānis, who had already started searching for her, moved through the thickets.

Lv: Tu esi tur?
En: Are you there?"

Lv: Pēc kāda laika viņi atrada viņu.
En: After a while, they found her.

Lv: Jānis skaidri paskatījās Ilzei acīs un sacīja: "Ir skaisti būt zinātkāram, bet jāatceras arī par drošību.
En: Jānis looked firmly into Ilze's eyes and said, "It's beautiful to be curious, but you must also remember safety."

Lv: " Ilze piekrita.
En: Ilze agreed.

Lv: Viņa parādīja bildi ar vardi draugiem un bija laimīga.
En: She showed her friends a picture of the frog and was happy.

Lv: Kad lietus beidzās un debesis attīrījās, visi saprata – draudzība un jo īpaši jau komandas darbs ir svarīgākie.
En: When the rain ended and the sky cleared, everyone understood – friendship, and especially teamwork, were the most important.

Lv: Viņi devās atpakaļ uz bāzi.
En: They went back to the base.

Lv: Ilze jutās gudrāka un ievērtēja draugu rūpes un palīdzību.
En: Ilze felt wiser and appreciated her friends' care and help.

Lv: Ceļojums beidzās labi, un viņi atgriezās pie klasesbiedriem, kur Ilze dalījās ar savu atradumu un stāstu.
En: The trip ended well, and they returned to their classmates, where Ilze shared her discovery and story.
