Have you ever been to family camp? It's like summer camp, but for your whole family! Ashley goes every year and Nikki doesn't. She thought that they only existed in Dirty Dancing, but BEHOLD! It's a real thing and Ashley shares all about it in this episode. There's even a dancing class, it's just missing Patrick Swayze.

Alastair Humphries wrote a wonderful book called "Micro Adventures," and it had so many beautiful ideas for adventures in his locality outside of work hours. Most of those adventures didn't feel feasible for mom with small children or for family adventures, so we grasped his idea and decided to try to make it applicable for families.
You can check out his book here, and also listen in to the 1000 Hours Outside Podcast that he joined here.
