Episode 3 of Palmer Library Adventures: Part 2 of the Chicken Coop Library
Episode 3 begins with Mardeen, the current president of the Friends of the Palmer Library, and she tells us of some of the fundraising that's been happening in the last month or so, especially about Palmer's Dash to Gold, or From Love to Luck, a community fun run that happened on St. Patrick's Day that was very well attended and many people participating in.
We've also got Bethany, a library specialist, telling us about the elementary school kids' mid -week meetup that she does and helps coordinate on Thursdays from 3 to 5.
Once again, we've also got Seinna, the library activities coordinator, and she's outlining the library's regular programs.
And director of the library, Joy, talks about the Quiet Company Book Club and also tells us how the library now has its own Facebook page for the Palmer Public Library.
And then we've got part two of Joanne continuing to tell us of her memories of doodles and the chicken coop library from back in the 60s, I believe, and 70s.
We also return for Part 2 of our Interview with Jo Ann Utt! She shares more of her memories of the Palmer Library as a child. That library was in a modified Red Chicken Coop and the Librarian' name was "Doodles".
