We're heading further into winter in Shetland, which means many folk around the isles are getting deeper into their preparations for Up Helly Aa.

Spooky Shetland returns for 2022 in podcast form!

This year's edition sees Jon tell 3 scary stories featuring three different creepy creatures from Shetland's vast folklore tradition. The first story - "Sigurd o' Gord" - tells the story of a man who visits the trows. In "Da Oo Tiggers", a pair of witches visit a family, and attempt to destroy their lives after a slight. And finally, "The Skull" is a terrifying ghost story of a bridegroom and a fateful encounter caused by his dog...
