Adventures in Dad-land

G3rbil is dealing with a child that is obsessed and can't stop talking about death in some ways. Everything leads to it, and has created somewhat of a weird phenomenon where everything is some sort of extreme condition. We walk through what's going on here, and discuss some ideas on how to handle the Questions!

Kids went to school, we divulge all the happenings, judging other parents is so easy isn't it! We also discuss some features of the kids going back to school that make us excited, and anxious in the same place. Come on we're late for the school bus everyone! Let's get talking about dad stuff!

This week, the week before school starts for the kids, we're dealing with big changes. A large portion of this weeks episode is talking about how G3rbil changed jobs, you heard it right! Serenity Digital is live and kicking! We talk about the toll that has on parents and then how it translates to the children. Starting school is tough for the group as well, and we discuss how kids are essentially lightning rods for emotional roller coasters. 

In adventures in. dadland the newest adventure is beginning, back to school! The prep, the emotions and honestly, we're ready to kick these kids out of the house so they can learn! Summer break is over and we discuss everything gong on in the world associated with that. Teachers being abused, who does that? 

The Hey Colfax's go out and enjoy hiking across the grand canyon and more and we do a deep dive into how that was, what effect it had on the kids and talking about travel. It's a travel episode and we are a long for the ride! Excited to hear how it went, G3rbil wants to know all!
