Adventures in Middle Earth: S1, Ep8 “The Calm Bree-fore The Storm”

After a brief hiatus, the Guild return to Tolkien’s world and pick up their tale within the timbered comfort of Woodland Hall.

Dan leads Justin, Sam, Ash and newcomer Mike as the party finally enjoy a moment of peace — hunting in the forest, fishing in quiet waters, and sampling more ale than is strictly heroic.

A new face joins the company: Arminas, an elf whose arrival signals that rest may not last long.

Peace is broken when Bungo receives troubling news — a letter telling of Dindy’s disappearance, brother to the innkeeper the Guild met days before. The Lonely attempts to offer comfort to a grieving family, Aiden hungers for steel and glory and Ash quietly notices a man with a goat who may — or may not — matter at all.

Rest, reunion, and the first stirrings of a new quest.
