Lk 4:14–22
In Lev 21 God speaks, to His priests and give them a directive that an the surface seams very counter-intuitive. To abstain from death, so that he make himself unclean and so profane himself. What a strange thing. From Gods view, death is the result of the curse by sin. The payment of sin is death, but as Gods representatives, the priests, are associated with life. In Him is life. Voluntarily participating with death, ie. the curse, is unthinkable. What do we choose to associate with.
Kevin Ivey and Thomas Beaver come together to discuss and discover God's weekly devotional known as Torah Portions. The question on the table is always a very simple one, with often times deep and profound impact: "What Is It?" This we can tell you will be fresh and new every week. We call it, Adventures in Torah!
The purpose is to get the people of the church interacting with each other and with us as to answer the question, what is it to you...this week?
We would encourage people to interact with one another on this channel by leaving your comments regarding each portion discussed and if you'd like, please subscribe.
Thank you for sharing this with your friends and other believers; start talking about the Bible.
