This weeks portion discussion: Shelach - Num. 13:1–15:41;
Josh. 2:1–24; Mt. 10:1–14

Sam. 11:14–12:22; Jn. 19:1–17
Sometimes being sent out, even by command is not always the best thing. This is counter-intuitive. When God says that he is going to take us somewhere or bring us into a place, don’t try to do his work for Him. He just might agree to let you. Abraham listened and obeyed. Without knowing anything, he was sent and he went. Abraham's obedience was counted as righteousness. As opposed to those in the wilderness that relied on their own sight first. It was counted to them as rebellion.
Kevin Ivey and Thomas Beaver come together to discuss and discover God's weekly devotional known as Torah Portions. The question on the table is always a very simple one, with often times deep and profound impact: "What Is It?" This we can tell you will be fresh and new every week. We call it, Adventures in Torah!
The purpose is to get the people of the church interacting with each other and with us as to answer the question, what is it to you...this week?
We would encourage people to interact with one another on this channel by leaving your comments regarding each portion discussed and if you'd like, please subscribe.
Thank you for sharing this with your friends and other believers; start talking about the Bible.
