It’s been a heck of a week, so this one’s just Meg. But a promise is a promise, and the news didn’t stop just because life got busy.First stop is Disneyland, where Indiana Jones Adventure is finally back after a long rehab. They added capacity and made the ride pouch bigger. Sounds small. It isn’t. Meg explains why that one loose hat or pair of sunglasses can shut down an entire ride, especially the trackless ones like Rise of the Resistance and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.And since Walt Disney World’s Indiana Jones is likely using the same ride system as DINOSAUR (which broke down constantly), Meg has some hopes and a few worries.Then it’s on to the Halloween popcorn bucket and sipper. Jack Skellington on his gravestone? Fine. The Mayor? Hard pass. Oogie Boogie deserves his shot.Plus, there’s a two day window where you can see the Magic Kingdom Christmas parade without buying a party ticket. The catch? Annual Passholders are already out of luck, and Meg has thoughts about that.Short, honest, and a little cranky. Just like a good theme park day.

Disney just pulled back the curtain on the Disney Believe, the fourth and final Wish class ship. It sails its maiden voyage out of Fort Lauderdale on December 18, 2027.Meg’s flying solo this week, recording from the front porch while the neighbors’ Halloween decorations try to steal the show. She covers everything Disney revealed: a Moana themed Grand Hall, Oaken’s Table (a new Frozen dinner show), Encanto making its stage debut, Tangled getting new sets, and a brand new lineup of lounges. That includes Sea Notes, Stargazers, the Wishing Well, and the Gazelle, which is family friendly by day and adults only by night.And yes, the Haunted Mansion Parlor is back. Good.Then Meg gets into the complaint taking over the internet: “It’s just a rinse and repeat of the Wish.” Her take? We spent seven nights sailing Alaska aboard Virgin Voyages’ Brilliant Lady, and this cruise felt very different from our previous Virgin experience in the Caribbean.In Episode 54, we’re talking about the ship itself and what it was actually like to experience Virgin Voyages in Alaska. Disney Cruise Line just dropped its fall 2027 and spring 2028 itineraries, and there are some big changes coming.The Disney Wish is sailing from New York with cruises to Canada and Bermuda, new Caribbean options are coming from San Juan, and Disney is even sending the Magic through the Panama Canal. Meg breaks down the itineraries that caught her attention, including the New York cruise she already tried, and failed, to book.Then it’s back to Walt Disney World for a closer look at Disney Lakeshore Lodge, opening July 1, 2027.
