As an au pair in America you can extend your stay for an additional 6, 9 or 12 months. If you choose to extend your au pair program then it can be very difficult to decide if you should extend with your current host family or if you should go into rematch and find a new host family in a different state. There are pros and cons to both options and in this video I will give you information that will help you to make the right decision.

I was an au pair in America for 2 years with the same host-family. I grew such a strong bond with my host-kids and so when the day finally arrived where I had to leave I broke down and cried. It was a very emotional moment and it still is three months later.  I wanted to show another side of being an au pair with raw emotion. The bonds created through this program are strong and I miss those boys everyday. They became my family and I will love them forever and a day.  I leaned so much by being their au pair and they ultimately made me a better man.
