The July 6, 1998 Edition of WCW Monday Nitro was held in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia. It holds the record for the largest WCW crowd with 41,412 with 30,000 tickets sold before the announcement of the main event. The episode saw Goldberg defeat Scott Hall to qualify to face Hollywood Hogan for the WCW World title. Goldberg would go on to continue his undefeated streak and win the World Title.
