In their early history, guilds were organizations for craftsmen or students of different disciplines. Their purpose was to help one another improve their craft and to sharpen that trade as a whole.

When we are living in a guild based lifestyle then we learn and grow from one another, teaching one another. We coach, we mentor one another, we encourage and protect the integrity of one another, just like the guilds did in their professions many years ago.
