Melchizedek did not become a great priesthood on earth yet the scripture says Melchizedek was greater than Abraham. There is a spiritual authority that is accompanied with intimacy with God, and people who walk in faithfulness to him are able to grow deeper in that relationship.

The power of the holy spirit is more important than ever before, because being people of the spirit is not optional. We are continually either sowing to the spirit or sowing to the flesh. In this teaching we discuss how to position ourselves to be able to receive more of the Lord and walk closely with His Spirit.

God is calling us to be hidden Elijahs, a part of the remnant set apart for God, whose hearts are fully devoted to Him.

This calling involves being a spiritual father or mother, living in obscurity, and relinquishing our own ideas of success to invest in the future generations of the Kingdom of God.

The calling of being a hidden Elijah is more than just being a part of the family of God, but being those who are intentionally listening to and hearing God, who are quietly walking in full obedience to Him.

From the beginning the invitation has been to start in the delight of God from a place of rest. In rhythms of rest are blessing. This set apart time is an invitation to encounter the divine.

Last time, we looked at two aspects of being in the spirit: consciously engaging with and cooperating with the spirit in prayer and in the way that we see other people.

In this teaching, we carry forward that discussion and talk about practical helps in learning how to be aware and led by God’s Spirit.
