A big week for the Dons as we bow out of the UEFA Europa Conference League with a 2-0 win against Eintracht Frankfurt, but ended the week in disappointment, with a 1-0 loss against Rangers in the Scottish League Cup final at Hampden.

Aberdeen had just three wins in 14 league games up until this weekend.

A gutting injury time loss against Kilmarnock and another injury time saviour from Leighton Clarkson against Hearts provided the mixed bag this week.

Our European journey beyond Christmas comes to an end following our draw in Greece against PAOK and we suffer a hangover on Sunday with a lacklustre performance against Celtic in Glasgow.

A successful week for the Dons.  A convincing win against Motherwell midweek and we ground out a result against Hibs in the Scottish League Cup semi-final on Saturday.

Three points in Europe were snatched away from us in the final minutes of our match against PAOK at Pittodrie on Thursday night.
