I realize you don’t think of me as the “health and weight loss guy.” I’m the “affirmations and inspiration” guy. I’m the “turn your wisdom and expertise into impact and income” guy. AND …

Now that I’m in my sixties, I realize more than ever the impact that health has on everything else we do in life. It’s the foundation upon which everything else is built! No matter your age, if you neglect your health, it will slow all of your efforts to improve every other aspect of your life.

I put my own health on the back burner for decades. I was still able to accomplish some amazing things. But, if I want to keep doing what I do for many years to come, I need to upgrade the role that healthy habits play in my life. It’s something I’ve always struggled with.

If other people’s behavior gets under your skin, this will set you free. These affirmations were inspired by “The Let Them Theory” by Mel Robbins — a simple yet powerful way to release the urge to control others and reclaim your peace by letting people be who they are.

I don’t know Mel Robbins personally, but I’ve admired her work for years. And, we both have an affiliation with Hay House, the company that publishes her books. What follows are affirmations to help you stop taking things personally and stay grounded in your power. They reflect my interpretation and experience of “The Let Them Theory.”
