Complementarianism is under attack both theologically and culturally. In some circles it is even spoken of as being abusive. As a Fellowship, FIEC is complementarian, meaning that the office of pastor or elder in an FIEC church is only open to suitably qualified men. But how is that compatible with a contemporary culture that sees women flourish in all areas of society?
