  • Paul's Defence Before Felix
In his defence before the Roman governor Felix in Caesarea, the apostle Paul recounted what he had done after stating what he had not done. Like most Jews, who were Pharisees, Paul believed in the resurrection of the dead and eternal life. The resurrection of the dead and eternal life constituted their main hope, but another sect of Jews, the Sadducees, did not believe in the resurrection of the dead and life after death. Paul says that there will be a resurrection of the dead for both the righteous and the wicked.

  • Part Four: God Made a Covenant With Abraham and the Prophets Israel
The Israelites were God's chosen people from ancient times, and they believed in the one Almighty God and worshipped Him. In the Old Testament, many prophets foretold the coming of the promised Messiah and the salvation of the Israelites. The gospel is not ordinary news; the gospel is the power of God for salvation. We call the good news of the gospel the Word of God, the Holy Bible. The Holy Bible is not an ordinary book, but the powerful Word of God, which if a person reads the Word of God and believes in it, will find salvation and eternal life.

  • Respect and Love for the Elderly
Respect and love for the elderly are among the most obvious and prominent signs of morality and humanity in a family and society. Respect and love for the elderly is not as sweet and charming as love for children, but it is also burdensome and perhaps even abusive. The elderly, who are mostly our parents, have the right over us to take care of them and grieve for them. Just as they took care of us in childhood. Let us take care of them with the same love that they took care of us in childhood.

  • Attention and Care for Animals
Caring for animals is a moral and humane act. Animals, like us, experience feelings and pain and suffering, and they have basic needs such as food, water, a suitable environment, and other things. By loving animals, we show that we are able to understand their needs and respect them. In addition, caring for animals can help us feel happier and more fulfilled in our lives. We should not beat or torture animals such as cows, donkeys, dogs, and other animals with stones and sticks. We should also advise our children and make them understand that they should be considerate of animals and avoid hitting them with sticks and stones.

  • Paul's Presence in the Jewish Council
In order to find out on what charge the Jews of Jerusalem were seeking to kill Paul, the Roman commander requested that the members of the Sanhedrin convene a meeting to determine the charges against him, but the meeting was inconclusive. When the Roman commander realised that Paul’s life was in danger, he returned him from the meeting to his soldiers’ barracks. When the Roman commander learned of the plot hatched by forty Jews to kill Paul, he no longer considered it advisable to keep him under his guard, because if Paul, a citizen of the Roman Empire, were killed as a result of a plot by the Jews, he would be held accountable for his failure to protect him. Therefore, he ordered his soldiers to take Paul with full security to Caesarea and hand him over to Felix, the Roman governor.

  • My Identity in Christ
Our identity in Christ is first and foremost about being new. We are new creatures in Christ. Identity is defined as the characteristics by which something is definitively recognisable or known, so our new identity in Christ must also be recognisable to ourselves and to others. If we are “in Christ,” this must be obvious and understandable. Our lives must show our identity-that we are followers of Christ. The name “Christians” literally means “followers of Christ.” Our lives, words, and actions must show that we belong to Christ.

  • Part Three: How to Study the Bible
We need to read and study the Bible because there is so much false teaching in the world. The Bible serves as a measuring stick for us to use to distinguish between truth and error. We need to read and study the Bible because it is the Word of God for us. The Bible is the very word of God. In other words, it is the very words that God has inspired and given us in the Bible. Philosophers have asked many questions that God has answered in the Bible. What is the purpose of life? Where did I come from? Is there an afterlife? How do I get to heaven? Why is the world so full of evil? Why do I struggle to do good? Along with these questions, the Bible has practical advice.

  • Paul Speaks About His Faith in Christ
Paul is the one who was commissioned by Jesus Christ to preach the good news of salvation to Jews and Gentiles. In these words, he tells the Jews how he met Jesus Christ on the road to Damascus and how he believed in Jesus, so that they would accept his gospel and believe in Jesus Christ, but they did not accept his gospel. Paul knew that the Jews had intended to kill him from the very beginning of his mission, but he was not afraid of persecution and death. He was led by the Spirit of God. He was willing to give his life for the gospel of Christ. He had only one goal in life and he wanted to fulfil it. His goal was to fulfil the ministry that Jesus Christ had entrusted to him, therefore, he did not care about his physical life or his physical death.

  • The Divinity of Jesus Christ
What the apostle John says at the beginning of his Gospel is that Christ was not an ordinary man. He was the “Word” of God and was with God before the creation of the world. The “Word”, Christ, existed in the beginning. Before the world was formed, Christ existed. The very first verse in the Bible says: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). But Christ was with God before this beginning. God has no beginning; He has always existed. And God has always had His “Word” with Him. God was never without the “Word.” The “Word” was with God. This means that in some way there is a difference between God and the Word; they are distinct from each other just as a father is distinct from his son. But John then says that the Word was God. Christ was not only with God but was God. Christ is not only the Son of God, but God Himself. Christ is God in human form. He is the only true incarnation of the living God who came to earth 2,000 years ago. Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever has seen me has seen God.”
