In this programme, we hear important points about the Law of Moses and salvation from sin through Jesus Christ. There is only one way to salvation, and that is to believe in Jesus Christ. There is no other way to salvation. The Jews, especially the Pharisees, thought that if they perfectly obeyed the commandments and ordinances of the Law, they could achieve salvation, but Jesus Christ proved to us that no one can always and perfectly obey the Law. Our human experience also confirms this. The Law does not save people, but condemns them. Christ came to free people from the bondage of the Law and show the true way of salvation.

In this programme, you learned important things about the activities of the Spirit of God that were carried out through Paul and Barnabas, the apostles of Jesus Christ, in the cities of Iconium, Lystra, and Derbe in the years after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Jews called the non-Jewish nations Gentiles and considered them unclean because they were idolaters or believed in many gods, but Jesus Christ came to save not only the Jews, but all nations and the whole world. Paul and Barnabas were named as apostles of Jesus Christ. In explaining this, it should be said that according to the books of the New Testament of the Bible, an apostle is someone who has received a special mission and assignment to preach the gospel and establish churches. Because Paul and Barnabas, like other disciples of Jesus Christ, had received this mission, we believers in Jesus Christ call them apostles.

Bad memories of the past are among the things that, if they remain in a person's mind, have a bad effect on his life. So, he should try to forget bad memories as soon as possible and have a peaceful and beautiful life. All humans experience events in situations that they prefer not to remember. Fortunately, there are ways by which you can train your mind in a way that it can get used to these events, cope with them, and even be able to forget them. Memories of past lives are often considered as something negative that needs to be gotten rid of. Our past lives and the experiences we gained from the past can actually be very useful in our current lives.

We can grieve the Spirit of God with our lifestyle and bitterness in our lives. The apostle Paul warns us against harsh words and bad behaviour towards others. Instead, forgive others as God has forgiven us in Christ. The purpose of this test was that if a husband is suspicious of his wife, it should be resolved, not ruined. This test showed that the trust between husband and wife has been completely destroyed. There is no life without good and bad, but it is better for us to have a counsellor with God. Let us try to remove bitterness from our lives. Instead, let us give grace to ourselves and others.

In the Holy Bible, there is no mention of, or reference to Muhammad or any other person who is to come, except for the repeated mention of the second coming of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ himself speaks of the Holy Spirit, not of a man, in chapter 14 of the Gospel of John. The Holy Spirit is sent by the Father in the name of the Son to the followers of Christ. The Holy Spirit comes from both the Father and the Son. The disciples could not understand many of Jesus’ teachings when he was with them on earth. But after his death, the Holy Spirit not only brought to their remembrance the words and deeds of Jesus, but also taught them the meaning of those words and deeds. With the coming of Jesus Christ to earth, all the prophecies of the Old Testament were fulfilled and completed. There is no need for anyone else to come.

We are alive in Christ and seek the things that are above. Paul says: Seek the kingdom of God where Christ is. Let us not focus our love on the things of this world and worldly thoughts and mortal goals. Because the more we love this world, the further our hearts will fall from the kingdom of heaven. It is impossible to love God and the world together. We once belonged to this world and the kingdom of darkness, we behaved in the ways of this world and according to our old nature. But now that we have been raised from our spiritual death by the Holy Spirit and have received new life, it is necessary for us to behave according to the new life.

In this programme, you heard that the Jews in the synagogues of Antioch did not listen to the message of the apostle Paul, but the Gentiles rejoiced to hear it. Despite all this opposition, the word of God spread throughout the region of Antioch and other parts of the world, and groups of people believed in Jesus Christ. Those who believed told their neighbours the good news of salvation and preached their faith. If we ourselves have truly believed in Jesus Christ, we will be willing to share the salvation we have received with others. Thus, at that time, the Jews of Antioch missed the opportunity to receive salvation.
