    Recent floods occurred in Afghanistan in Khushi in Logar, the Ghorband region of Kapisa, Kunar, Laghman, Zardalo in Ghazni, and the region of Malistan. These floods caused many fatalities and also financial losses. 432 people were killed and wounded. A high number of women and children were among the dead. Houses were swept away and many domestic animals were destroyed by the flood.
