This is a special edition of the show. I spoke to Masum (name changed to protect his identity), who is in Kabul, Afghanistan, about the current situation in the country.

It was intriguing to listen to Masum's story as he went into fine detail about pre-2001, during the 20 years the Americans were inland and post-August 15th. He tells me what it's really like to live under the Taliban.

I also spoke to Conference Director and Travel Photographer Shane Dallas to give his perspective of Afghanistan as it is now and what he made of it all when he travelled there as a visitor.

I talked to a family who fled the country and a couple of women about their take on life as an Afghan. Unfortunately, they all didn't appear on the show as they were terrified of what may happen to them. But I sum up what they told me.

This was fascinating for me to cover and hopefully will give people a little insight into life as an Afghan.
