They say absence makes the heart grow fonder and boy are we fond of finals, we waited a bit longer this year to get here and it was worth it!

Week 1 of the finals series will go down as one of the greatest in recent memory

The Cats got jumped early and couldn’t buy a goal to save themselves whilst a tough port outfit dominated the middle and showed their worth

The Lions overcame their goal-kicking hoodoo and slayed the Richmond beast, but its not over for the reigning premiers just yet as the cavalry is set to arrive.

The saints painstakingly made their fans wait to the last seconds to give them some long awaited finals relief, whilst the dogs left their bite too late to make an impact on 2020

And what can we say about the pies, who were dirty, and just making up the numbers, and then shocked the eagles out of the year in one of the games of the century!

The nerves of anticipation start to set in as footy fans dare to dream about ultimate glory.

For the cats, their recent finals record looms as the heaviest weight on their shoulders as port look to genuinely legitimize themselves with a big win at home.

Can brisbane shake a shocking run of form against a well placed richmond team, we’ll discuss how david CAN defeat goliath.

What could be one of the most fast and furious finals looms large as the slick saints take on the bravado bulldogs, can the sons of the west repeat their heroics of 2016? Or will the saints take a step closer to their second ever flag.

And in a repeat of one of the greatest grand finals ever, collingwood take on west coast behind enemy lines, in a bid to make some amends for their crushing defeat of 2 years prior. Can all that has stood in west coasts way this year be surmounted?
