Deze podcast gaat over het werk:

Tijdens mijn eerste weken op het oude Philipsterrein fungeerde deze voormalige kantoorruimte voor mij als rustplaats. Door de karakteristieke lichtinval, het hoge plafond en de witte muren ervoer ik de ruimte als een plek van rust op een terrein vol visuele en materiële ruis. Deze kamer, later ingebouwd in het bestaande gebouw, werd het middelpunt van mijn looproute door gebouw E. Met het werk White Room doorbreek ik deze gecentreerde ruimte om verbinding te maken met de omliggende kantoren, door middel van actieve deconstructie en uitvergroting van de aanwezige materialen en fotografische beelden.

During my first weeks on the old Philips site, this former office space served as a resting place for me. Due to the characteristic light, high ceiling and white walls, I experienced the space as a place of calm on a terrain filled with visual and material noise. This room, later built into the existing building, became the center of my walking route through building E. With the work White Room I break up this centered space to seek connection with the surrounding offices, through active deconstruction and extension with present materials and photographic works.
