primarily dedicated to young listeners.

Episodes: There were 52 episodes in the series.

Producer and Star: The show was produced by and starred George Edwards, a prolific Australian radio personality known for also producing series like "Frankenstein" and "Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde." Edwards was often called "the Man With A Thousand Voices" because he played a variety of characters in his productions.

Content: The show was an adventure series, delving into stories of pirates, intrigue, and plots, often centered around a mysterious Aztec necklace. While it drew inspiration from the historical figure Henry Morgan, the stories were fictionalized.

It's important to note that this "Afloat with Henry Morgan" is not to be confused with the American humorist Henry Morgan (born Henry Lerner Van Ost, Jr.), who had his own distinct radio career with shows like "The Henry Morgan Show" in the US.
