AFR Radio

This week we welcome yiorgos representing DHAKL. Yiorgos (George) is a Greek Cypriot.

Born and raised in the south of Jozi, South Africa, Yiorgos' early influences include the legendary Carl Cox, Erick Morillo, Frankie Knuckles, Dave Seaman and the legendary Danny Tenaglia.

In his early 20's Yiorgos found a love for and became infatuated with deeper, darker, melodic, minimal underground rhythms and driving bass-lines.

The undertones and resonances in his track selection reflect his unique multicultural heritage (Greco, Afro & Egypto-Arabic).

Yiorgos has featured on ZA's D'Vibe Rekords Radio, Laminin Music's "The Phonic Escape", Blewbox, Culture Connection Radio (NYC), Sultry Sounds with AbouT_Time(UK), Underground Kollektiv Radio (UK), Ibiza Stardust Radio (ESP)and Deep House Auckland (NZ).

In researching this weeks theme..... this:

"You must see Angel Number 23 as a really positive sign.

It’s a sign that your voice and your expression are what the world needs. So by trusting yourself and your creativity, and the positive energy that wants to move through you, you are actually becoming a channel for divine expression! Your Angels want you to know that you’re on the right path! So keep going!

But on the other hand, if you keep playing small, you are standing in the way of the new and exciting information that the word SO needs. The number 23 is calling you out of your self-doubt! Your Angels want you to believe in yourself – your vision and voice are so valuable, and they are what will light the way to freedom."
