Sara’s 50th birthday was August 4th, and she is embracing it with joy and gratitude. As she says, she is stepping into this new decade feeling happy! She is leaving the last decade that was full of trauma and drama and emerges feeling lighter. She has learned a lot. She has learned she does not have to carry other people’s baggage, and she feels lighter and happier now entering her 50’s.
Sara wrote in a piece for Linked In “ With aging comes permission to be you. You have lived through a lot; dark times and beautiful times. Own it all and now know and be who you truly are. You Belong where you are standing.
Her three tips on happy aging and living life:
1) Be Curious.
Don’t stop learning. Discover your passions and purpose.
2) Play more
Never lose the child within.
3) Surrender
Don’t try to control so much.

Sara is a proud mom to 3 wonderful young men, a business owner, a mountain and ocean adventurer, an artist, and a former teacher. She is a teacher of resilience, adventure and living Boldly.
Ten years ago, Sara divorced from her husband of 17 years. She somatically healed her heart, mind, and body through nature while practicing the art of resiliency and forgiveness.
