Afraid?

If the Covid pandemic has showed us anything, it’s that fear is powerful. And whether it’s world events or a personal health crisis, many people live lives overcome by fear. Is there another way? Can we live lives characterised by courage instead of fear. Jesus seemed to think so. This week we jump into the boat with Jesus as he sails us into the storm to teach us how to live without fear.

Questions to reflect on and discuss from this message:

1. What are you most afraid of?

2. What do you think when you hear a statement like “when Jesus is near we have nothing to fear”?

3. What practical things could you do to make yourself more aware of the presence of God in the storms you face?
