He is the New York Times Bestselling author of The Color of Compromise and president of The Witness: A Black Christian Collective where he writes about race, religion, politics, and culture. He is also cohost of the Pass the Mic podcast. Tisby is a PhD candidate at the University of Mississippi where he studies race, religion, and American politics.
