In March, me & my family 'escaped' amurdakkka for the ENTIRE month. For my wife, it was her chance to go back home & reconnect with her large family. For me, it was my FIRST TIME going back home to the continent we now call Afrika.

There was quite a bit I WISH I would have known before leaving, so I am making this show to share some of that info to other future stolen Afrikan travellers who also are hankering to go H-O-M-E.!!!

On April 15th of 2016, I was invited on the trs blogtalk radio show...ironically entitled Talk Real Solutions. I was to speak on my hot-selling book HOW TO MAKE A NEGRO christian. While the 1st 2 hours went as planned, when the callers came on, the entire talk switched to the stupidity of Afrikan Traditional Spirituality as a whole, the Untruth of Afrikan Spirits and the overemphasis on Science & Technology ONLY for Afrika's future uplift.

While I did as well as I could in a hostile environment, at the end of the day, I personally 1-wasn't given efficient time to explain certain points &/or was just talk over on & 2-feel I didn't fully represent Real Afrikan Spirituality as well as I could. THIS SHOW CORRECTS THAT RECORD, DEFINITIVELY!

Tonight, we have a powerful interview w/ a good friend of mine, IFAKOLADE ALAROYE LASANA also known as Jahsun Edmonds,a practitioner of Ifa, Palo & Vodoun.

We will be discussing how he got into these forms of Afrikan Spirituality (A.S.), how it is sorely needed to alleviate the collective Afrikans problems of today, how it is imperative to sync the practice of A.S. with ALL present & future discussions of Nation Building & of course questions from our callers & chat room guests.

With all the talk being pushed on some blogtalk shows & elsewhere on how A.S. is antiquated, taking us back to barbarism, will get in the way of our Nation Building efforts and the like, we here at Afrika's Reascension felt it was IMPERATIVE to have this trained & graduated in the systems mentioned, brother on our show to clear the air of all the UNLEARNED NAYSAYERS.

WE FINALLY GOT 'EM!!!!

Meet the brother who was fired from a Black institution (howard middle school-on the campus of howard university) for teaching "too much" Black History.

T'Shango Mbilishaka is an Afrikan freedom fighter who has been hiding out as a teacher for over a decade. He has taught in inner city communities in Boston and Washington D.C and has held positions in almost every grade level, from pre-K to college. T'Shango uses several traditional African teaching methods he has learned from his 8 trips to Afrika, studying under Dr. Asa Hilliard, and reading works on African socialization such as Kwame Agyei Akoto’s Nationbuilding, Sambuli Mosha of the Chagga, Malidoma and Sobonfo Some, Ayi Kwei Armah, Kia Fu-kiau Bunseki, Amos Wilson, and Eleni Tedla’s Sankofa: African thought and Education.  T'Shango has found the most effective teaching practices, the most effective parenting seminars and the most effective community initiatives are based firmly within a cultural and political context. T'Shango has found students are most enlightened (endarkened) when they are given the skills and world view to do the work necessary to empower their families, communities, and mother Afrika by learning about their history and practicing the culture of their great ancestors. Previously, T'Shango had been featured in Essence Magazine for bringing students back to Afrika, he was awarded runner up for “Most Outstanding Teacher” of the year in DC charter schools 2013 while at Howard University Middle School, and has been initiated as a Babalawo in Ifa in Nigeria. Lastly, he is also married to the lovely Afrikan Centered Psychologist Afiya M. Mbilishaka.
