His soothing voice, melodies and combination of English, pidgin and the native Igbo language made his sound all the more unique. It did not take long for me to fall in love with his pattern as he songs not only resonate with me but it had that flare I always felt was lacking in some artist within the genre. I used to think he was the usual one hit wonder that would eventually fade into obscurity within months but time and time again it seems all the lad has done is prove me wrong. It is secret that with this level of consistent hits, Cupid is slowly creeping into my top three favorite singer even when I know he is not getting the recognition he deserves. Nevertheless he still remains extremely good on the game.
