It’s the first episode of the Speaking of Afrobeats. In this episode, I’m taking you back to the basics. Before we had the Afrobeats we all know and love.

I share my thoughts on the connections between Afrobeat, Afrobeats and other international pop culture genres like Rnb, soul, jazz, house music and even classical music.

Even though I know it’s there, I’m still trying to figure out the Afrobeats and classical music connection.
