Welcome to episode 4!  

We decided to change the name of the channel formerly known as SMS Talk show  to AfroVivid. We wanted a brand name that represents us and what we stand for. AfroVivid aims to keep up the balance of both perspectives that we hope our target audience can relate to. 

AfroVivid's target audience are multicultural youth all over the world, young Africans back home, and fellow Americans who all strive for a better future. The term vivid in our name is to ensure a clear pathway for others who may not have a voice or opinion of their own. We aim to cover many diverse topics including, lifestyle, education, entertainment, social media,  etc. 

In this episode we discussed the cultural differences between growing up in Africa vs The United States. All four of us had the opportunity to spend a huge chunk of our lives in Africa and coming to the States was a very different experience. We all had to adjust in order to fit into the new environment and we'd like to share how that process was like for all of us.
