This set is mixed by Susan Right who is a Rotterdam based DJ & Producer, who started spinning in 2008. In April 2021, Susan won her second DJ Competition. She won the first prize in the Beatport & Pioneer Global DJ Competition.

Her sound is marked by melodic and deep vibes and her insatiable desire to create a unforgettable dancefloor experience for her audience.

In 2014 she won her first DJ contest (Techna, a contest for female techno DJ's), which saw her career really start to take off. With bookings coming in for various events throughout the Netherlands like the Amsterdam Dance Event, various clubs and illegal raves.

Susan has a musical background. She played saxophone for years. After following an education at the Jazz School in Rotterdam and playing in two Jazz bands she made the switch to electronic dance music.

Currently, she can be heard on several radio stations throughout the world and she has her own weekly radioshow 'Parallel Visions Radio' on her Soundcloud & YouTube Channel. You can also check out her popular 'Disfruta Ahora Sunset Sessions'. Susan’s first 5 track EP ‘Deo Volente’ will be released on the Italian based label 'Natura Viva'.

Ready for new summer season tasting a new episode for Emotional Melodies Summer series with an exclusive and electronic set compiled and mixed by Claudia Castel.

Unlike most dj’s, C. Castel first cemented her name at home by playing at the clubs, events and big fashion shows, thus giving way to the rest of the Europe.She also did a series of showcases for Global Underground alongside Jim Rivers and Paul Thomas while securing multiple residencies with Blackwiz Records and her very own C.

Castel’s Deep House Music Sessions. Castel has always kept her head grounded firmly focusing on DJing and her innovative take on nu school house and progressive techhouse, backed up by a list of hit releases on distinguished labels such as Defected, Mn2S, Sony and Blackwiz Records to name a few.As a youngster in a modern dance group she developed from a dancer to a songwriter over the following years. While writing lyrics, she became more intrigued with the art of Djing, and her ambitions grew from there.It was at the age of 13 when she won the coveted Fashion TV contest, signing her to a top modeling agency.

Having spent many successful years strutting the famous catwalks in the world in cities like Paris, London, Milano, Munich and Tokyo is where she discovered a plethora of house, electro and minimal beats.It was at that moment she realized music was going to be part of her life’s canvas.C. Castel made it on to the clubs scene in the early 2003’s, which sparked her interest in production.Her real breakthrough came in 2010 with the signing of Moonrise/KMA to Blackwiz Records ...a pair of tracks that crossed over from progressive to tech.

Major support came in early from all the heavy weights including: Mark Knight who featured it on his Toolroom Knights Radio Show which aired on 35 stations in 21 countries| Roger Sanchez | Funkerman | Ralph Lawson | Xpress 2 | Nic Fanciulli | ATFCSince then C. Castel has gone on to release a string of hits on a variety of labels and continues her collaborative achievements with Sandy Rivera including ‘Dirty Sax’, ‘Persuasion ft Rae’ ‘Deeper ft Haze’, ‘Hide U ft Rae’ and most recently her remix of Kings of Tomorrow ‘Finally’, all of which have been independently awarded ‘Tune of the Month’ in Mixmag at various points over the last year.Her latest remix for Kings Of Tomorrow ‘Let Me Tell You Something’ out on Defected supported by Pete Tong on his Radio 1 show, is already reporting seismic waves in clubland.

This set is mixed by one of the most exciting artists to emerge into the realm of Electronic Dance Music. He started listening to and exploring music aged 11 years old, and it was clear from this early age that this was a real passion, which is why he remains more determined and focused than ever, as this passion has grown enormously over the years. Els, as he’s also known as, started off DJing at local parties and events, until his late teens, when the mighty Ministry of Sound came calling. It was obvious at this point that he had a natural talent for the craft, and this was noticed immediately. Off the back of this first major gig, he successfully secured several bookings and went on to play at venues including Pacha, Eden, Cable, Lightbox, Egg, and also the now World famous We Are FSTVL.

As Elliot’s journey progressed, the addition of wanting to make his own music became ever more apparent. He began making edits of tracks he admired, until eventually starting to release his own productions. His debut release on the infamous Seamless Recordings, is a true statement of his sound. The track which is entitled “Elixir”, has been described as “nine minutes of blissful enthusiasm”, and reached number 3 in the labels top 10 most popular releases chart on Beatport; nestling itself nicely amongst the likes of Lee Burridge, Matthew Dekay, Ian Pooley, Joe T Vannelli and Hot Since 82.

Fast forward 12 months, and with a string of releases under his belt, Els’s success is continuing to grow. His recent 2 track EP being signed to Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden label is a real demonstration that his sound and ability warrants him being part of the Electronic Dance Music scene. Having received support from the likes of Nick Warren himself, Hernan Cattaneo, Pete Tong, Anthony Pappa, Lane8 and even David Guetta, he shows no sign of slowing down and is certainly someone you should keep an eye out for!
