You had the moment that changed everything, and you know you can't go back to the way things were. So what now? After a breaking point, most of us make one of three choices without ever realizing we're choosing. In this episode, I share the three choices I discovered after my own breaking points: survival mode, living in the facade, and building a brand new life on a brand new foundation.
I walk you through what a breaking point actually is, what crisis mode looks like and why it isn't meant to last, and what each choice looks like in real life: holding it all together with glue and tape, rebuilding with the same old bricks and a fresh coat of paint, or stepping into the unknown in faith and standing on God's truth. There's no judgment here. Every season has a time and a place, and no choice is better or worse than another. I'm sharing what I've lived, because I wish I had known I had other choices.
If you're a woman of faith in a hard season, rebuilding after a breaking point, and wondering if you're stuck in survival mode or building on a foundation that keeps letting you down, this episode is for you. Most of us are carrying years we think were wasted, a season that took more than it gave, a version of life we thought we'd have by now. What if none of that time was actually wasted at all? In this episode, I take you into one specific night in my own story, sitting exhausted at my desk, and an experience with God that changed how I looked at my past.
I walk you through what led up to that night, the exhaustion, the moment I finally admitted to myself I wasn't happy, and the vision God gave me, one that showed me those years weren't wasted. They were a gold mine. I’ll talk about what it means to look back at time you thought you wasted with a different perspective, not feeling regret, but seeing there was more there than you thought.
If you've ever looked back at a hard chapter and wondered if it meant anything, or if it disqualifies you from the life you're meant for, this episode is for you. I hope my story helps you start finding your own gold.
