Publisher's Summary:
Julie Greene loves flings. Loves steamy first dates, sizzling first kisses, and every now and then, that first sexy romp between the sheets. Comfy pants, sleepy Sundays, movie nights on the couch? Shudder. But when Julie gets assigned the hardest story of her career - a first-person account of that magical shift between dating and "I do" - she'll need a man brave enough to give a total commitment-phobe a chance at more.
Normally, Mitchell Forbes would be exactly that man. A devastatingly hot workaholic who tends to stay in relationships for far too long, he should be the perfect subject for Julie's "research." But what Julie doesn't know is that Mitchell is looking to cut loose for once in his life. And the leggy journalist notorious for avoiding love is exactly the type of no-strings fling he's looking for. In other words, Mitchell is the polar opposite of what Julie needs right now. And, at the same time, he's exactly what she wants.
Contains mature themes.

Cute but no surprises
Serial Monogamist, Mitchell, takes a friend's bet that he can't have a fling; and Serial Dater and journalist, Julie, takes an assignment to write about entering into a serious relationship.
Both of them move out of their comfort zones but find, together, they're exactly where they're supposed to be.
This was cute but totally predictable: relationship starts out casual, each keeping deal-killer secrets from each other. Stakes are raised when they fall for each other. The secrets are revealed. They break up but still miss/love each other. Then there's a grand gesture by one or both of them and they get back together for good this time.
The book was short, too--it ended at 79% on the Kindle app.
There's two more books in this series that obviously deal with Julie's two co-worker/friends. However, I'm betting those books follow the exact, same formula as this one.
Easy vacay read.
Dating Guru meets Wall Street
Julie Greene was well known in New York as the Stiletto "Dating" guru. She could write anything that had to do with the first date, first kiss, if there was a first, she could write about it but when she was asked to write about "How to Take a Relationship to the Next Level?" She knew that she was in deep trouble because she had never been a relationship that went to the next level. In fact it made her insides turn just thinking about ever going to next level so how in the world was she supposed to write about it? With the help of her two best friends and other writers for the Stiletto Magazine, they came up with a plan that required Julie to go undercover. Pretend to want something that was never in the cards for her and then dump the guy before the article came out. Only one problem, she never counted on Mitchell Forbes.
Mitchell Forbes was a man that dated long term. He was the type of man that stayed in a relationship long after it should have been over because it was the right thing to do.
