On this week's show, we round out week 1 with our thoughts on some of the more surprising results across the league including a lacklustre performance from last years MVP. Jonathan is already feeling better about the Lions after they finish strong against the 49ers and James is realising that the Vikings might not be as good as he had hoped. We finish up the episode by seeing how our picks on Instagram went and hint at some early picks for week 2.

It's been a long time since we last sat down in front of a microphone and let our thoughts be known. The season is nearly upon us so it's time to get our act together.

The After The Play team take a long look back at those first few days of the free agency period. We give our thoughts on some wicked deals, some questionable ones and of course, Jonathan takes a long look at the work his Lions have done to start the mammoth rebuild task they have in front of them.
