Nick Quaglia, Marv Ezhan, and Mike Molyneaux are back for another week of the CLNS Media Patriots Roundtable following an unplanned week off of football.
Entering the 2020 NFL season, the Kansas City Chiefs were undoubtedly the best team in the AFC. Through the first four weeks, they lived up to expectations, taking down the likes of New England, Baltimore, Los Angeles, and Houston.
Come Sunday, the reigning Super Bowl Champions didn't look as invincible. The Las Vegas Raiders invaded Arrowhead Stadium and walked away with a 40-32 victory.
That begs the question, moving forward are the Chiefs still the AFC favorite?
After much discussion, the NFL decided to move the Patriots/Broncos game to Sunday, October 18th, effectively eliminating the Patriots bye week. This verdict was released just prior to Monday evening, the original reschedule date.
In contrast, the Kansas City Chiefs were told to play on despite Stephon Gilmore testing positive for COVID-19 just days after their contest with New England.
With multiple teams now at risk, is the NFL moving forward in a reasonable manner?
